Drawing on the story of Jesus, son of Mary, who asked Allah for a table spread from heaven as a sign and provision (Quran 5:114), this piece brings together six fruits named in the Quran: pomegranate, date, olive, fig, grape, and banana. The cloth represents that heavenly table, sent without effort or hardship, while the fruits gesture toward the delicacies of Paradise.
